Music
The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church is committed to the use of the creative arts to glorify our Creator God. Opportunities are provided for people of all ages to bring praise to God and lead others in worship. This diverse and comprehensive ministry includes choirs beginning at age three through adult, as well as instrumental involvement using handbells and orchestral instruments. The church is blessed with the use of a Steinway piano and Wicks pipe organ to anchor the singing of the largest choir, the congregation. Children’s Music Ministry
Our children’s choirs are held on Wednesday nights from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. for children age 3 through 5th grade. The overall goal of the children’s choir ministry is to direct children toward a growing faith in Jesus Christ and to lead them to become lifelong worshipers. The aim is to provide each child opportunities to grow both spiritually and musically in age-appropriate learning activities.
